Built by the Knights of Pythius in 1890, this former
meeting hall has been renovated to an early 1900s themed Sleepover.
Kimberlee Davidson-Russell purchased the building from Casey Township on February 9th, 2016.
Over the next 18 months, the second and third floors were gutted and rebuilt to highlight the building's rich history.
The rooms are spacious and have many modern amenities while
showcasing the characteristics of a building that was constructed in 1890.
Visitors can tour our quaint, small-town
while visiting many of the world's largest attractions.
Enjoy a cupcake at the bakery or a specialty ice cream next to the
Candy Depot while listening to the music playing downtown daily.
We hope you enjoy these photos of our transformation.
What our guests are saying
Cute place to stay in such a fun little town. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. I liked having a keypad entry instead of a card. Very accommodating. Very clean.
We would definitely stay again.
This was an amazing place to stay!
This was not your usual hotel stay and we so loved that! Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.
Fabulous visit to Casey
Stayed at the 1890 Sleepover in town.. what a beautiful place. We came for the Crazy Casey Days event that unfortunately was rained out, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
Very friendly townspeople. We will definitely come again!

Great old building
What a great, unique place! I loved it here. The room was beautiful and the building was just plain cool. It's not only within walking distance of most of the major attractions it's literally right next to them.
Beautiful and unique hotel
If you are traveling on I-70 and want a wonderful place to stop for the night, this is the place, Minutes after I booked the room, Kim sent me a text to thank me and ask when I would be arriving.
I got there after 10:30 pm, yet Kim still came outside and asked if I need any help with my bags. Check in and check out could not have been any quicker or easier.
The rooms are absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. I have been to hotels all over the US, Europe, and Asia, and this was one of my favorite hotel experiences.
My stay included a breakfast voucher for one of two local restaurants. One is directly across the street and the other is just a couple blocks away. .
Such a great alternative to Effingham!
Wonderful rehabilitation of older building into elegant large sleeping rooms, which were well equipped, nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds.
We are members of Indiana Landmarks so appreciate investment in vintage architecture. Delicious candy welcome gift. Coupons for breakfast at two local restaurants.
Hotel room was decorated beautifully, great location, within walking distance to majority of sites and several shops.
Two thumbs up!
We were just passing through so only stayed one night. We both wish it could have been more! Enjoyed the hotel's old time feel with modern appliances.
The bed was super comfortable!!! If we are ever back in the area we will stay here again!
I liked everything. They did a wonderful job renovating this property.
Also love the fact that we could walk right out the door and explore the town without having to drive. 💖
Kimberlee is an amazing person, our comfort and easy access to the city were incredible.
My husband and i will always stay right there.

We’ll be back!
What an outstanding find! This historic building has been turned into a first rate hotel. The owner is so wonderful!
Her superb taste in decorating is reflected throughout the building. So comfortable!
Close to so much to see and do in this fun town! Wonderful complimentary breakfast! Delicious candy treat! We are already planning to visit again.
Pros: Historic! In the middle of everything in town!
Cons: Nothing, absolutely loved it!
Location: Casey is a little town full of World Record attractions. So much fun to find them all and so many photo opportunities. Such friendly people too!
A Great Find!
Probably one of the neatest places to stay! The accommodations are great and the overall experience was fantastic.
We really loved the room’s design and layout. Our son loved sleeping in the loft!

Great place !
Fantastic place to stay. Large rooms, tall ceilings, attentive hostess, 1890 theme and very clean.
Shower in our room had a nice flat floor with small lip; easy to get into.
Excellent restaurant right across the street and plenty of parking.
It was a nice stay in a beautiful room with great service. Staff was very nice and helpful and loved the treat on the bed.
Had a nice view out the windows and bed was really comfy.
The place I went for breakfast was great and filling. I loved the overall experience.
This is a great addition to Casey. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. Kimberlee was accomodating and friendly.
Loved the little touches like a box of candy from the local candy store and bottles of water in the fridge.
Comfy and Stunning!
Absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The owner and her family were so incredibly nice and accommodating!
The bed was comfy, the decor is on trend and the towels were so soft! Perfect location for seeing all the big things!
This is a delightful 12 room boutique hotel only 2 years old. Beautifully decorated. Request a quiet room and you will be delighted. Breakfast included in this charming little town
